Electric rc trucks

Electric RC trucks are often preferred by beginners. Not only are they less expensive than gas powered trucks, there's also less mess and maintenance, and replacement parts are cheaper. You can drive them indoors and they aren't noisy.

Below is the Traxxas 1/10 Stampede RTR Truck, it is an absolutely great choice for a beginner, it is ready-to-run, sturdy and inexpensive.

With electric rc trucks you'll need to recharge the battery pack every 10 minutes or so - Recharging the battery pack takes around 15 minutes, but you can prevent these unwanted breaks by having an extra battery pack ready.

Often electric trucks can drive in reverse, unlike nitro vehicles. But electric trucks don't run as fast as nitro trucks and they aren't quite as powerful, but you can improve the performance of your electric truck by adding hop-ups later. Hop ups are one of the best things about hobby rc models.
