Off Road Buggies
Off Road buggies are two wheel drive and the electric models run up to 30 MHP while nitro buggies run up to twice as fast. But if you're just starting out 30 mph is more than enough, believe me; so don't just get the nitro because they go faster.

Their strength is off-road but you can drive them on-road as well. Most electric buggies are 1/10 scale, nitro trucks are 1/8 scale.

An inexpensive solution for a beginner is the Traxxas 1/10 Electric Bandit RTR. It is fast and low-maintence. Traxxas are known for creating sturdy products that last.
