RC Nitro Cars - the sweet roar of a nitro engine
In recent years there's been great development in rc nitro cars. Gas powered rc cars used to be primarily for seasoned hobbyists but today there are some excellent ready-to-run gas powered cars on the market so even beginners can join in on the fun.

The advantages rc nitro cars are speed and run-time. The really fast models run 60-80 mph, and refueling takes very little time, so you can keep running practically without any breaks for as long as you want.
The screaming sound of the engine and the exhaust smoke are certainly also factors that add realism to the experience.
On the negative side there's more mess and maintenance compared to electric models. You can't drive them indoors and they're also more noisy, which can be a disadvantage depending on where you intend to race it.
