When buying RC helicopter kits you have to put some effort into it and spend quite a bit of time assembling your helicopter model. Building the helicopter practically from scratch gives one a certain feeling of satisfaction once it is done. But if you're really anxious to get on with the actual flying, and the thought of building doesn't appeal to you at all it is probably worth considering a ready-to-fly model. RC can very well be suitable for a beginner as well as a seasoned hobbyist, but just remember to consider your skills, interests and willingness to spend some extra time on your hobby.

1. Predator SE 60/70 Helicopter Kit. This gas powered rc helicopter kit will keep you entertained in the garage for some days before you will get to see it flying. The kit comes without the engine and can be equipped with either a .60cc or a .70cc size engine. I'd say this isn't really a helicopter that is suited for beginners. Building this helicopter will require a certain amount of patience and it's pretty complicated to control. It's really a helicopter for experienced hobbyists with some truly great areonautical capabilities. Furthermore it has some nice alu parts and the overall quality is high. The Remote control unit and engine does not come with the kit.
