Radio control cars
Building your own rc car from a kit can be a fun and rewarding experience, but it isn't for everyone. Let's have a look at the benefits of the build-it-yourself approach.
You'll save money. Kits are cheaper than similar pre-assembled models and having built the car yourself you know it from the inside out. This means you won't have to send it to the manufacturer for repairs; you can fix it yourself. Furthermore adding 'hop-ups' is a snap, and you can customize it to suit your own liking, adding a personal touch to it.
But it really comes down to your personal preference - are you looking for a hobby that will keep you busy for hours or are you mainly in it for the thrill and fun of actually driving your rc car? If you're instantly put off by the thought of hours and days of building, I recommend that you look into a ready-to-run model.
